Finding Us

Birch Bank Camp is located in the "Loring Restoule Vacationland" in the heart of Ontario's "Near North" tourist region. We are six kilometers from the Village of Restoule and are approximately a four hour drive north of Toronto.
 
Restoule is situated 70 kilometers south-west of North Bay and approximately a 45 minute drive from the city.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Driving from Southern Ontario, simply follow Hwy 400 to Highway 11, and drive straight north on Highway 11 to the town of Trout Creek.  (Refer to the Regional Map above).

At Trout Creek turn left onto Highway 522. Drive west towards Port Loring until you reach Highway 524. This highway intersection is only a few kilometers past the Community of Commanda.

Turn right on Highway 524 and drive until the highway ends at the intersection of Highway 534 (this is only 5 kilometers).

At Highway 534 turn left. The Village of Restoule is about 5 more kilometers.

Driving from the North, follow Highway 11 to the Town of Powassan, then turn onto Highway 534 and drive straight west to the Village of Restoule.

LOCAL DIRECTIONS

  • When you reach the village, you will pass the general store.

  • Immediately after the general store,  Highway 534 will turn sharp to the right towards Restoule Provincial Park.

  • At this time, leave Highway 534 and follow Hawthorne Drive (straight ahead across a small concrete bridge).

  • Drive 2 kilometers to Limberlost Point Road.

  • Turn left onto Limberlost Point Road and drive 4 kilometers to our camp.
