Restoule & Commanda Lake

 

THE VILLAGE

Restoule is a small tourist village located on Highway 534.   Restoule is known for it's Provincial Park and scenic hiking trails. 

There are many small businesses within the village for your convenience.

The Crow's Nest
Where you can get a full menu every day, featuring home made pies, tarts, breads, tea biscuits, squares and the best chicken pot pies anywhere.

Branch 639 participates in the local Seniors program hosting monthly luncheons, monthly foot clinics, and participating members provide transportation to medical appointments as required.

 

 

 

THE LAKE 

Your first view, upon entering Restoule, is that of Commanda Lake located on your left.  

Commanda Lake is about 5 miles long and flows into Restoule Lake over a beautiful set of rapids within the village. 

The lake is known for Northern Pike, Walleye, and Bass fishing, the rapids between Commanda Lake and Restoule Lake is thought to be one of the best pickerel spawning locations in Ontario.

Commanda lake is generally very peaceful, although there is the occasional ski boat or jet ski to liven things up.
